The Sindh government just announced Monday (July 25) as a public holiday in Karachi & Hyderabad divisions due to the heavy rainfall expected.

Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab announced the decision in a tweet, further adding that a notification in this regard has been issued.

In a previous tweet, the Karachi director mentioned individuals to stay away from pointless development referring to constant weighty downpours.

It is relevant to specify here that the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has given metropolitan flooding caution for low-lying regions in various urban areas in Sindh including Karachi.

As per a new PMD warning, because of solid storm flows, weighty precipitation alongside wind and rainstorms is normal till 26 July.

PMD has likewise asked the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Sindh to go to essential lengths and stay on guard to forestall the death toll and property in the territory.
