On Sunday, the government announced to decrease the price of petrol by Rs3.05 but on another hand, the price of diesel has been increased by Rs8.95.
In the latest notification, Finance Division said that vowing the fluctuations of Petroleum Prices in the International market and exchange rate variation, the government has decided to update the prices of petroleum products.
The new prices will take effect on 1st August 2022.

During these bad economic times when the Rupee is at its worse, the new petrol price does not seem to be releasing any burden from the shoulders of people worried about inflation.
