The universally adored charming, eco-friendly little hero is back! I am Groot trailer just dropped out and Marvel will deliver the series when one month from now.
On Friday, they posted the trailer with the description, “A hero of few words returns. I Am Groot, a collection of five Original shorts starts streaming August 10 on Disney+.”
The clasp is by all accounts enlivened by Gulliver’s Travels as the youthful alien Groot’s spaceship leaves him on a planet with small-scale blue creatures who, similar to the Lilliputians, dread him from the get-go. They send off an assault on him with little weaponry yet when Groot flatulates out a leaf — indeed, you read that accurately — the minuscule animals gaze toward him in wonder, their joy looking like that of Minions as they eat up the nutritious greens. The following couple of seconds of the trailer highlight Groot flowing to party music, investigating the spot, and rehashing the main words he knows how to say — “I am Groot”.
The charming, energized series is a Guardians of the Galaxy side project delivered out of Marvel Studios Comic-Con movement board on Friday. The board uncovered that after the underlying five energized shorts debut this August, I Am Groot will get back with extra episodes sometime in the future.
Voiced by Vin Diesel, Groot originally showed up in the MCU in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which saw the person penance himself to be supplanted by his child, Baby Groot, who developed as a sapling out of his body. I’m Groot is set to investigate Baby Groot’s experiences across the world away from the Guardians, as he meets new characters and winds up in risky circumstances.
