A rush of Price Hikes is in full impact in Pakistan as Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has also announced a huge increase in the prices of all of its cars. Yesterday Toyota IMC announced a massive price hike following in the footsteps of KIA and Hyundai.
Just like other automobile companies, Changan has also blamed local currency (PKR) instability, continuously rising shipping charges and material costs for the Increase in prices.

The car sales of the company are likely to impact as this is the fourth hike in 2022 by MCML. Its market-winner ‘Alsvin’ with its variants got a hike in price by nearly 5 million which does not make the car a budget-friendly sedan anymore. However, it’s still in the competition because of being included in the category of cheapest cars in Pakistan.
